The "Baltimore" Conference of the M. E. Church met at Bridgewater, Rockingham county, Va., on the 10th inst. There were 50 travelling Ministers present. Mrs. Alice B. Neal, the popular authoress, died at her home, near New York, during the year 1863. The small pox is prevailing in Russell county, Va, Major Fletcher, lost six negroes with it last week. The hotels in Milledgeville, Ga., charge for board $15 per day in Confederate money, and $7 in Georgia treasury notes. A negro man died recently at Salisbury, N. C., aged one hundred and three years.
