Destructive fire in the country.
--About three o'clock yesterday morning the barn, stables, cow-houses, and straw-rick on the farm of Mr. Wm. C. Allen, in the county, a mile west of the city, were destroyed by fire.
Mr. Allen's loss in provender alone, leaving out the value of the buildings, is not less than between twenty and thirty thousand dollars. The fire is believed to have been the work of an incendiary.
