Mayor's Court, yesterday. --Thomas Boyd, charged with shooting, on last Sunday week, Henry Anderson, a free negro, was discharged by the Mayor from further prosecution yesterday morning. The testimony in the case fully proved that Boyd, acting as a guard at the Danville Bridge, only performed his duty in firing at the negro after his refusal to obey the command to halt.
