By the Governor of Virginia. --A Proclamation.--Whereas, the Court House of the county of King and Queen has been destroyed by the public enemy, and for that reason the place of holding the said court has heretofore been required to be held at the house of Thomas Wyatt, near Pace's Chapel, in said county, and the court of said county having requested that for the greater convenience of the people the place may be again changed: Therefore, I, William Smith, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, do hereby require the justices composing the county court of said county, hereafter to hold its sessions at the town of Stevensville, in said county, until other wise required by law. Given under my hand as Governor, and under the loss seal of the Commonwealth, at Richmond, this eighteenth day of May, 1864, and in the 88th year of the Commonwealth. Wm. Smith. By the Governor: Geo.
