Arrival of Yankee raiders.
--There arrived in this city yesterday 269 Yankee prisoners, including the following officers, all of whom were captured at Reams's Station, on the Petersburg and Weldo.
Railroad, on the 29th ult: Major T McLennard, 22d N Y cavalry; Capts H C Pike, co D, 2d Ohio; A M Benson, co H, 1st D C cavalry; F S Chase, co H, 2d Ohio cavalry; Benj Bennett, co G, 23d N Y; 1st Lieuts J H Kane, co I, 1st Conn; B M Whittemore, co C, 5th N Y; 2d Lieuts M Cowdery, co D, 2d Ohio; G B Dyer, co E, 1st Conn; Surgeon D B Vanslack, 22d N Y; Assistant Surgeons O H Adams, 8th N Y, and Patrick Harvey, 5th Pa. From an inspection of the roll of these prisoners there seems to be a vast preponderance of the foreign element among them.
They were consigned to the Libby.
