$36,000 security for his appearance to testify against certain gamblers and liquor sellers, to be tried before this term of the court, was brought before Judge Joynes, on a writ of habeas corpus, yesterday morning. The heavy security required of Reece by the Hustings Court was in consequence of a report that he intended to leave the Confederacy.
