Antonio Samanni, charged with stealing $9,000 belonging to A. M. Bailey, of the Sentinel, was found guilty by the jury and sentenced to one year's imprisonment in the penitentiary. Writs of habeas corpus were awarded by the Judge to John M. Holman, of Goochland, and William L. Saunders, of King and Queen, claiming exemption from service by reason of being justices of the peace in their respective counties. The writs were made returnable this morning. Colonel William C.
