North Carolina. --Our troops evacuated the town of Washington, North Carolina, on Wednesday last, and it was occupied by the enemy, perhaps, on the same day. No advance in any other directions is apprehended at present. Our forces fell back from Plymouth to a point on the Roanoke river to watch the enemy's movements.
