Severe Stabbing case. --Under the influence of a surplus quantity of whiskey, two white men, named Andrew H. Thompson and William Williams, personal friends heretofore, got into a difficulty about 2 o'clock Sunday morning, near the corner of Second and Duval streets, during which knives were drawn, and the latter was shockingly cut in divers places about his body and limbs. At the height of the violent altercation, Mr. Andrew Jenkins, happening to be passing by, interposed, and succeeded in separating the combatants. Thompson was taken before the Mayor yesterday, and by that officer remanded for future examination.
