Mayor's Court, yesterday. --William Packingham, drunk and disorderly in the street, was held to security for his good behavior. Dick, slave of Jane Donley; Harry, slave of William Fureron; John, slave of John Goode; and Tom, slave of James McEntire, all Chesterfield negroes, were ordered to be whipped for stealing a hog, valued at fifteen dollars in gold, the property of some person unknown. Watchman Fromer caught these negroes about two o'clock yesterday morning in an old lot ed ten lashes each. When the Mayor announced his decision they all three burst into tears, and for some time their weeping and wailing excited the attention of the spectators present.
