Mayor's Court. --The proceedings in this court yesterday morning were, as they have been for the past week, of little interest. We give the following summary: William St. George Gunn, charged with feloniously aiding and conniving at the escape of a slave, named Mary, the property of Mrs. Gamble, was again up for a hearing; but, in consideration of the absence of witnesses material for the defence, the case was further postponed. Ann Perrin and John E. Hicks were also up as accessories to John's crime.--These cases were similarly disposed of. James Golden, William Sedgwick, Lewis Benedick and Harriet Powers were summoned to show cause why they should not be fined for permitting water to escape from their hydrants.--Some of the parties were fined and others were dismissed.
