Return of prisoners. --Between eight hundred and one thousand Confederate prisoners, who have been confined in Northern bastiles, arrived in this city yesterday afternoon. They reached City Point by flag-of-truce boat on Saturday last; but, in consequence of the heavy ice in James river, could not get to Richmond before. An equal number of Yankee prisoners will leave Rocketts this morning, from whence they will be taken to Varina, and then be transferred to the Federal flag-of-truce steamer in waiting to take them to Fortress Monroe.
