s were again in session yesterday, and disposed of the following business: James Melvin, charged with receiving stolen goods, was acquitted. Oscar E. Edwards was arraigned on the charge of shooting at John Ford during last Christmas holidays. Upon an examination of the case, it was shown that the accused acted only in self- defence, whereupon he was discharged. By advice of the Commonwealth's Attorney, and {consent of the Court, a nolle prosequi was entered in the case of John M. Daniel and J. M. Hanna, indicted for libel. The presentment against the Richmond Typographical Society, charged with conspiracy, was dismissed. Dennis and Mary Leary, charged with stealing copper, zinc, &c., belonging to the Confederate States, were put upon examination.
