Mayor's Court. --The usual number of cases were booked for the Mayor's consideration on Saturday, though only one of them was disposed of. We append the following list: Peter Roberts, a white man, was charged with stealing a horse, saddle, bridle and halter, valued at three thousand dollars, the property of Benjamin Gilder sleeve. The evidence was of a convincing character against the accused, and the Mayor remanded him for examination before the Hustings Court. James Griffin, arrested upon a warrant charging him with obtaining, under false pretences, a load of straw from a negro driver of N. A. Bowe, was required to give security for his appearance to answer the offence on Monday. Noble, slave of Angelina Lawson, was charged with breaking into the dwelling house of his mistress and stealing therefrom a valuable lot of sheets, table--cloths, ladies' wearing apparel, &c.; but, owing to the absence of witnesses, the case was postponed till Tuesday.
