Dr. John R. Baylor, of Caroline county, has leased his fine estate in that county, for the term of ten years, to Mr. Black, a Scotch gentleman, whose name is well known in connection with the proposed Scotch emigration to Virginia. For this estate, comprising about two thousand acres, it is said that Dr. Baylor is to receive three thousand dollars a year for the first three years, and five thousand dollars a year for the succeeding seven years.
