A lady Wronged.
--A gentleman who kept a wholesale wine and spirit store in this city, on Court Square, died a short time ago, leaving to his wife an insurance on his life for $9,000. At the end of sixty days the widow went to Cincinnati, and at the insurance office received the money.
As she was leaving the place, she was arrested by the officials, and the whole of the money taken from her. She arrived here a few days ago without a cent to help her in the difficulties incident to her bereavement.--Memphis Appeal.
