He had said but a moment before, and very earnestly, "We pray dat de Lord will press all flesh dat is human," when the laugh occurred; and commencing again, just before the "Amen," the pious old man said: "O Lord, we are not in de habit ob adding postscripts to our prayers, but if depression, 'Bless all dat is hnners to laugh, so that the sable suppliant heard them.
