Waddell, Captate commander, as a gentleman, kind, courteous, and benevolent; and as an officer, prompt, ready, and efficient. The resolutions were then unanimously adopted. The Chairman then, in accordance with the 3d resolution, requested the Chairman of the Committee to prepare the copies, as indicated, and appointed Captain. Walter H. Weems to communicate with Gen.
