Last Sabbath, however, a much more dangerous weapon was used, and one from the effects of which some parent may have to mourn the loss of a son, unless it is put a step to by the authorities.--After fighting Rocketts boys" have been meeting near the lager beer brewery for the purpose of fighting rock battles, resulting in no great damage to either side.
Last Sabbath, however, a much more dangerous weapon was used, and one from the effects of which some parent may have to mourn the loss of a son, unless it is put a step to by the authorities.--After fighting awhile with stones, pistols were drawn and freely used, one bail, we hear, passing through a room in which a family were at the time eating dinner.
We know that our worthy Mayor has tried to put a stop to these rock battles, but when pistols, instead of stones, are the weapons, it becomes a duty to use more diligence and greater exertions to stop them.
