Returned from a campaign. --The Artillery Company commanded by Captain Hart, formerly known as Kirby's Battery, attached to the Wise Legion, returned to Richmond last evening from Western Virginia. The men look as though they had encountered the realities of the service during their six months campaign in the mountains.

Amusements. --The stock company at the Theatre has received a valuable acquisition in the person of Mr. Morton, a comedian of rare qualities. The patronage of the establishment continues liberal, and the performances, undisturbed by rows, pass off very pleasantly. --The Zouaves, at Franklin Hall, are getting up some imposing military spectacles, which, with their pantomimes and operatic performances, constitute a highly attractive entertainment. The Zouaves are worth seeing.

Liberal Contribution. --We learn, from able authority, that the 4th North Caro-Virginia State troops, (Col. Anderson's Regiment,) have subscribed onwards of $1,000 for the relief of the sufferers of the Charleston conflagration.

Mr. Nelson offered a resolution, instructing the Committee on Courts of Justice to inquire into the expediency of so amending the laws concerning land titles as will more effectually protect the right of the loyal citizens of this Common wealth against the claims of alien enemies. On motion of Mr. Robertson, the Committee on Military Affairs was increased by the addition of five members. The Speaker also appointed Messrs. Edmunds, Sheffey, Flood. George, and Minor to constitute such addition to the Committee. The Speaker also appointed Messrs. Newton, Tredway, Sheffey, Collier, Saunders, Franklin, Bouldin and Stregar to constitute the Committee on the manufacture of sea salt. On motion of Mr. Burks. the unfinished business of Monday, being the consideration of the bill suspending legal proceedings in certain cases, (stay law,) was taken up.
