Acknowledgment.
Editors of the Dispatch: Will you permit me to acknowledge through the columns of your paper the receipt of 20 pair of woolen socks, 15 pair of drawers, 2 undershirts, and 2 blankets, from Miss T. A. Garrett, daughter of the Rev. Mr. Garrett, of this county, to be distributed among the refugee soldiers from Wheeling.
These articles are the work of her own hands, and constitute a very liberal and considerate donation for the benefit of those who are cut off from their families and friends.
In expressing my own. I am authorized on behalf of the "Wheeling boys," to tender to Miss Garrett their very grateful acknowledgments. Very respectfully, M. H. Houston, Surgeon P. A. C. S. Culpeper C. H., Dec. 27.
