A raid--"a Handsome Affair." Brigadier-General Fitzhugh Lee has just achieved a "raid" into the Yankee lines beyond the Rappehannock, which resulted handsomely. He killed and captured 200. With the 1st, 2d and 3d Virginia regiments of cavalry, on the 23rd instant, he made his way to within five or six miles of Falmouth, which stands immediately opposite Fredericksburg. Near Hartwood Church he fell upon the enemy's pickets, drove, them wildly before him, killing and wounding many and bringing off 150 prisoners. These arrived here Saturday morning and were assigned to quarters, where they will remain-until paroled. The prisoners taken include one captain and four Lieutenants. They represent seven different regiments, viz: 3d, 4th, 12th and 16th Penn. Cavalry, 1st Rhode Island Cavalry, and 4th New York and 23d Mess. Infantry.

Broke his leg. --Francis Conner, of company H, 24 regiment Mass vol., a Yankee prisoner, can find in Castle Thunder jumped out of a third story window of that institution on Saturday evening and broke his right leg. Conner has for sometimes past exhibited evidence of an unsound . Once not long since he escaped from the hospital and get on the roof of the building, where he was discovered, and would have been shot had not the Surgeon arrived in time to explain who he was. The men fancied hstle Thunder jumped out of a third story window of that institution on Saturday evening and broke his right leg. Conner has for sometimes past exhibited evidence of an unsound . Once not long since he escaped from the hospital and get on the roof of the building, where he was discovered, and would have been shot had not the Surgeon arrived in time to explain who he was. The men fancied he is to be burned to death by our men, and frequently puts himself in position, and begs them to shoot him.

Destruction of the C. S. Steamer Nashville. Savannah, Feb. 28. --The steamer Nashville, in coming up the Ogreche last night, grounded on the sand bar above Fort McAlister, and was discovered this morning by the enemy's first. An iron clad opened fire across the march at the Nashville at thirty minutes past seven o'clock, and continued until ten, when an incendiary shell struck the Nashville, setting her on fire and she is now a total wreck. The fort fired upon the iron clad, hitting her twice. Other gunboats from the fleet shelled the fort, doing no damage.

Remittances to the Dispatch. --We have made arrangements with the Southern Express Company by which all money for subscription, advertising, or job work, can be sent at our risk. The money to be sent should be enclosed in an envelops, directed to the "Richmond Drs Payon, Richmond, Virginia," and sealed with war, writing the subscriber's name, post-office, and amount sent on the outside. Deliver the same to any agents of the Southern Expresses Company, and take his receipt. Send a letter to the office of the Dispatch by mail, advising us of the date when sent. Our agents will observe carefully these directions, and follow them.
