A resolution of inquiry was adopted in relation to the occupation by the Confederate Government of the Virginia armory. On motion, the Senate resolved itself into secret session. On reopening the doors the Senate adjourned. In the House the bill to increase the compensation of the porters and pages was received from the Senate with an amendment, which was agreed to.
