Colby, Anthony (otherwise written Coleby, Colebie, Coldby, Couldby, Couldbey), in 1635, owned house and three acres near the southerly side of Brattle Street; and another house with three acres, extending from Garden Street to the way leading from Brattle Street to Fresh Pond. These and other parcels he sold in 1639 to Simon Crosby, and removed to Salisbury. He died 1663, leaving 8 children. Farmer. Cole, Arthur, m.
