Saturday March 28th. --Cerdy Adams was brought up and arraigned for committing an unprovoked assault on Harriet, his wife.--The Mayor held him to ball in to keep the price and the name amount to appear before the Hustings Court and answer the charge of made Rudolph Lurrain was required to give security to keep the peace on the charge of getting corned and smashing in one of the windows of E. Y. Cannon's law office. John Costilla Holland was examined and sent on to the Hustings Court for stealing $31 from Pleasant M. Bonley.
Runaway.--$50; reward. --Ran away from me, in the county of Hanover, on the morning of the 10th inst, my negro woman, Holland. She is about 5 feet 3 inches high, black, high forehead, speaks broad when spoken to, and had on when she left a checked domestic cotton dress. I bought her in the city of Richmond last February, and she came from the State of North Carolina. It is probable she is making her way back to that State, or may be endeavoring to get to the Yankees.
