George W. Rizer, of Piedmont, Va., has been appointed a route mail agent on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, between Cumberland and Wheeling. Miss Rhoda Hendershott was thrown from her horse and killed, near St. Clairville, Pa., while returning from a college commencement, on the 2d inst.
