Yesterday was devoted by the Court to the hearing of pleadings on the motion submitted by Messrs, Sands and Nance, to quash the rule leads against Casper Marston and other members of the Richmond Typographical Society, to show stress why an information should not be filed against them for conspiring together as printers to extort of John M. Daniel, proprietor of the paper.
Counsel for defendants concluded that the presentment made against the Parisians and can thrown out of Court by nolle prosequi in the first instance, because of some informality.
The Commonwealth's Attorney could not elect of his commotion to continue the prosecution by information, but must go back and have a new indictment found.

The thieves in Lynchburg.
The city of Lynchburg is experiencing what Richmond has just been, in a measure, relieved from.
On Monday night, the store house of John Clements was robbed of $3,000 worth of goods, --The parties suspected of the robbery, who were arrested, were John O' Donell, John Doberly, John McClasky, Chas-C. Travis, and Mike Sullivan, all of whom are from New Orleans, and belonged to Whest's battalion.
On their persons when arrested were found bowie knives buttons, handkerchiefs, small articles which Mr. Clements recognized as his by his private mark.
The parties lodged in the cellar of a boarding-house, kept by a men named Murphy, which was searched and quantities of tobacco, calico, cotton cloth, boots and shoes were found.
In the stable of an Italian, near the same place, were found several boxes of tobacco and some other of the articles.

--Ranaway from the subscriber, near the Hanover Junction, on Christmas day, a negro man named Jim. He is very stout and healthy, about 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, about 26 years old, of a light black complexion, and speaks quick.
The above reward will be paid to any one who will deliver him to me, or place him in the Hanover county jail.

Wheat's Battalion The discha yesterday were Chas Williams, Chas H Kent, J D Fitt, S Mullis.
