[13] On the offering of the Thasians at Olympia there is an elegiac couplet:—“Onatas, son of Micon, fashioned me,
He who has his dwelling in Aegina.
”1 This Onatas, though belonging to the Aeginetan school of sculpture, I shall place after none of the successors of Daedalus or of the Attic school.
