II.mostly in 3 sing:
1.to suffice, ποταμὸς οὐκ ἀπέχρησε τῆι στρατιῆι πινόμενος was not enough to supply the army with drink, id=Hdt.; ταῦτα ἀποχρᾶι μοι id=Hdt., attic
2.impers., c. inf., ἀποχρᾶι μοι ποιεῖν 'tis sufficient for me to do, Hdt., ; c. part., μέρος ἐχούσηι ἀπόχρη μοι 'tis sufficient for me to have a part, Aesch.;—and without inf., ἀπόχρη τινι it is enough for him, Dem.
