When Myrichides was archon in Athens, the Romans elected as consuls Lucius Julius and Marcus Geganius, and the Eleians celebrated the Eighty-fifth Olympiad, that in which Crison of Himera won the "stadion" for the second time.1 In Sicily, in this year, Ducetius, the former leader of the cities of the Siceli, founded the native city of the Calactians,2 and when he had established many colonists there, he laid claim to the leadership of the Siceli, but his attempt was cut short by illness and his life was ended.
