Heyne retained ‘subeuntque,’ though he preferred the omission of the copula: Wagn. thinks the omission of the ‘que’ may be due to the beginning of the next word ‘equites.’ Ribbeck is probably right in following the balance of authority, and reading ‘subeunt.
