AIN GASSA Tunisia.

A small rural site with ruins of an agricultural settlement from which has been recovered a group of seven stelae dedicated to Saturn by the peasants of the area. These stelae date from the 2d c. to the beginning of the 3d c. Some bear inscriptions with tria nomina and also sculptured decorations of various symbols pertaining to the deity: the crescent, star, crown, and pine cone.
