MONTLAUZUN
Lot, France.
On the Penchant de Majonelle there existed a large Gallo-Roman
establishment, no doubt a villa. It was occupied until very
late times, as is attested by the discovery on the site of
a Byzantine coin of Phokis.
Near the fountain and vanished hamlet of Frascati, an
ancient kiln has been discovered in which glazed pottery
was fired under oxidizing conditions.
