PISORACA (Herrera de Pisuerga) Palencia, Spain.

Town 76 km N-NE of Palencia, known because of several milestones. Ptolemy called it Sisaraka (2.6.51), and the Ravenna Cosmographer Pistoraca (318.13). Excavations have proved that in or near it was the camp of Legio 1111 Macedonia, and that it survived until the 6th-7th c.
