[559] δέδρακε Creon has heard only what Oedipus said of him: he does not yet know what Teiresias said of Oedipus (cp. 574). Hence he is startled at the mention of Laius.

οὐ γὰρ ἐννοῶ i.e. “I do not understand what Laius has to do with this matter.”
