ἀνέμων-ῥιπαὶ ψυχῆς, stormgusts of the soul: both genitives are possessive: cp. 795βλεφάρων-ἵμερος...νύμφας” —Dindorf's expulsion of “αὑταὶ ψυχῆς” (cr. n.) is unwarranted. “ψυχῆς” interprets the figurative sense; for “αὑταί” after “τῶν αὐτῶν” cp. n. on 155 ff. (“νέοχμος νεαραῖσι”).
