γυμνὸν is defined by “τῶν ἀριστείων ἄτερ”: cp. Ph. 31“κενὴν οἴκησιν ἀνθρώπων δίχα”: O. T. 57“ἔρημος ἀνδρῶν μὴ ξυνοικούντων ἔσω”: Ant. 445“ἔξω βαρείας αἰτίας ἐλεύθερον”. ὧν … εὐκλείας στέφανον (‘a glory-crown of which’..): both genitives define the quality of the “στέφανος”, but “εὐκλείας” goes more closely with it: cp. 308 f. “ἐρειπίοις ι νεκρῶν...ἀρνείου φόνου”.
