ἴδω is followed by εἰσίδω δ̓ and ἴδω δὲ (271). For such change of the word in ‘epanaphora,’ cp. Ant. 898 f. “φίλη μὲν .. προσφιλὴς δὲ .. φίλη δὲ”: Ph. 530 f. “φίλτατον μὲν...ἥδιστος δ̓...φίλοι δὲ.

μὲν is omitted in the first clause; cp. 105 n.
