ἵενται ‘are urged along,’ the passive of “ἵημι”, probably a different word from “ἵεμαι” ‘I aim at, desire.’ 308-309,= Il.10. 483-484. Il., 21. 20-21.τῶν is masc., as in the Iliad. κράτων τυπτομένων must be a gen. absolute.
