[67] ἐγρήγορθαι: the ‘Aeolic’ accent is traditional, and vouched for by Herodianos. The word is evidently a perf. mid., with the 2nd plur. “ἐγρήγορθε” 7.371, 18.299; but “ἐγρηγόρθασι” 10.419 must then be a false archaism founded on a misunderstanding of these forms.
