[661] ἐν νεκύων ἀγύρει, lit. in the gathering of the corpses, a bold and vigorous expression. “ἄγυρις” recurs only in the phrase “ἐν νηῶν ἀγύρει,” 24.141, and in Od. 3.31 = “ἀγορή. αὐτῶι” emphatic, their lord.
