[573] θάρσευξ, this contracted form from an -“ες” stem is very rare and suspicious in H.; it is simple to read “θράσεος”, this word being found in 14.416. Cf. on 3.10. Similarly we can read “θράσεϊ” for “θάρσει” 6.126.
