[37] τεοῖο is a quite impossible form, recurring only in the equally spurious line 468. Heyne proposed “τεεῖο” for “σεῖο”, which may be defended on the analogy of “τεός” (“τεϝός”) for “σός”. So Ap. Rhod. has “ἑεῖο(iv. 782) , cf. “ἑοῦ” read for “ἕο” by Zen. 19.384. In a passage like this such a form can hardly be anything but a false archaism, and is not worth correcting.
