[300] μᾶλλον, more than can be balanced by his apology. The μέν in protasis is answered by the δέ in apod., but the latter is, as so often, appended not to the “ἄλλους” which it really contrasts with Agamemnon, but to the personal pronoun, though no change of person is really implied. Cf. δέ in 1.191.
