2. (from Med.) carrying away for oneself, rescue, recovery, “κατὰ Ἑλένης κομιδήν” Hdt.9.73; esp. recovery of a debt, D.38.9, Arist. EN1167b31, Oec.1349a7; “μὴ ἔστω αὐτῷ κ.” PHal.1.259 (iii B.C.).
3.
