ānŭlāris , e, adj. anulus,
I.relating to a signet-ring; hence, anulare (sc. genus coloris), a white color prepared from chalk, mixed with glass beads, such as were worn in rings, Plin. 35, 6, 30, § 48. Cf. anularius.
