Talaüs

Τάλαος). The son of Bias and Pero, and king of Argos. He was married to Lysimaché (Eurynomé, or Lysianassa), and was father of Adrastus, Parthenopaeus, Pronax, Mecisteus, Aristomachus, and Eriphylé. The patronymic Talaïonides is given to his sons Adrastus and Mecisteus ( Il. ii. 566).
