Vosgĕsus. Now the Vosges; a range of mountains of Gaul,
in the territory of the Lingones, running parallel to the Rhine, and separating its basin from
that of the Mosella. The rivers Sequana (Seine), Arar (Saône), and Mosella (Moselle)
rise in these mountains.
