MARSIGNI

Eth. MARSIGNI a German tribe, mentioned only by Tacitus (Germ. 43), probably occupying the north of Bohemia, about the Upper Elbe. In language and manners they belonged to the Suevi. (Comp. Zeuss, Die Deutschen, p. 124.)
