SARNEIUS

SARNEIUS (Σάρνειος), a small stream of Hyrcania mentioned by Strabo (x. p.511), which, after rising in M. Coronus, flowed in a westerly direction into the Caspian. Professor Wilson considers that it must be either the Atrek or the Gurgan.
